XcellerEYES™ is a lyophilized amniotic tissue allograft developed to minimize patient discomfort. Ideal for patients suffering from persistent, non-healing corneal defects, burns, abrasions, injuries, trauma, and post-operative care.
Application
XcellerEYES™ maintains space in the orbital cavity between the eyeball and the eyelid, and prevents closure or adhesion.

Lyophilization
Studies suggest that both lyophilization and cryopreservation effectively preserve the integrity and viability of amniotic tissue. However, lyophilization offers significant advantages in storage and handling, as the resultant tissue can be kept at room temperature and rehydrated quickly before use. Unlike cryopreserved allografts, which require a sterile rinse to remove cryoprotectants such as glycerin and glycol, lyophilized tissue simplifies the preparation process, making it a safer and more convenient option for clinical applications.
